About Me
How I work is shaped not just by theory, but by my own life, and my experience of counselling.
I was trying to find my way through so many different feelings, and things I had never said out loud before.
I was holding a lot on my own, and at times I didn’t know who I was anymore.
My own counselling journey changed things for me.
I know how hard that first step can be – and often, each step after that.
Because of this, I understand that it can be really hard to put your trust in someone else.
There’s no pressure to go anywhere you’re not ready to go.
I’m a person-centred counsellor, which means I work at your pace, with what feels most important for you to bring.
As we work together, we’ll figure out the best way to explore things.
You don’t have to have the right words or know where to begin.
I’ll share what I’m noticing, and may be curious about the difference between what your body is saying and what your mind is thinking.
Who I work with
I work with adults navigating a range of experiences – including trauma, grief and loss, burnout, neurodivergence, learning disabilities, and navigating the complexities of life changes.
Alongside my counselling work, I’ve supported families experiencing isolation and loneliness, helping them to build confidence to connect with their communities.
You don’t need to fit into any one category to come to counselling.
What matters most to me is that you have a space where you don’t have to do this on your own – where things can be said, explored, and understood in a way that you choose, when you’re ready.
I’m a registered member of the BACP, which means I work within their ethical framework to ensure your safety, confidentiality, and autonomy.
